Some other things to consider (some of this is feedback from Klara, who unfortunately is out of town for this event): we can have better lighting on the performance area, as well as stage risers to elevate performers over the DJs. The set up will be just like last time... so we can improve upon it, and if you can incorporate a pole.... then that's your call lil' missy.
On Friday, we may be able to brainstorm with the club managers a bit more if theses ideas come through. -

Tale Of The Pole
Thu, April 28, 2005 - 7:03 PMI know you're already planning your moves, so I feel I should describe my pole (the better to meditate on it).
In the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., "My pole is a modest pole."
It's a homemade deal - a small, sturdy platform with about 7 feet of pole (slightly smaller around than a standard pole, so your goodies will look juicier in comparison).
Steady enough to dance around, but with no support on top, it's questionable exactly how much swinging or climbing can be done. I heartily encourage discovering its limits.
